The Brisbane Airport Rotary Club has been assisting Hummingbird House with the maintenance of their lawns for the past 4 years. Co-founders, Paul and Gabrielle Quilliam, are an ordinary Queensland couple who, after fostering a child affected by a life-limiting condition, made it their mission to build Hummingbird House.
Since 2012 the Rotary Club has held their annual major fundraiser – the Melbourne Cup luncheon.. What started as a cocktail lunch at the Novotel with approximately 40 guests, the function now treats over 150 guests each year to a 2 course lunch, live auctions, raffles, sweeps, lucky door
Our Rotary Club has been collecting recyclable Containers for Charity since 2019. The initiative has been very successful with the club collecting over 9,000 containers to date. The club picks up containers from Cloudland every fortnight with the managers and residents diligently sorting their rubbish ready for collection. You
