Donations to the Australian Rotary Foundation Trust
Members can write a cheque to the Australian Rotary Foundation Trust to be sent to the Parramatta office, P.O Box 1415, Parramatta NSW 2124 or phone (02) 8894 9800 and pay via credit card.
Members can also make a regular or once off gift by completing the Foundation Direct Debit Form. Using this form you can have gifts deducted from your bank account or credit card: monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly. The form allows the donor to specify whether they would like their gift to go to the Annual Programs fund or to PolioPlus.
Giving must go through the Australian Rotary Foundation Trust. Any gifts over A$2.00 are tax deductible if you give them through the Australian Rotary Foundation Trust for the Rotary Foundation. If gifts are made to the Rotary Foundation through the Rotary International website, donors will NOT get the tax deduction. The gift MUST be made to the Australian Rotary Foundation Trust
Donations through the Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd
Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS ) Overseas Aid Fund is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) so is able to offer tax deductible donations to support organisations with worthy projects within and outside Australia.
Those wishing to donate through RAWCS can go to the website and find a particular project to make a donation to. Each project will either allow online donations or the donor will have to get in touch with the project co-ordinator to arrange payment.
